SALON POLICIES

Please consider the policies listed below before scheduling and visiting Harmony Salon & Spa. We want to ensure a great experience for every guest and stylist. Thank you for your understanding!

PERSONAL INFORMATION

All clients must complete a health intake form prior to any services. Intake forms/verbal treatment communications will be kept confidential and will never be shared with third parties without written permission from the client.

APPOINTMENT RESERVATIONS

Reservations are required as appointments are subject to availability; however, we will always do our best to accommodate your requests.

A debit or credit card is required to hold your reservation. Your card will not be charged until treatment is received or in accordance with our cancellation policy.

ARRIVALS AND CHECK IN

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time so that we can get you settled and start the treatment at the appointment time. It is important that you arrive on time to receive your full treatment.

LATE ARRIVALS

If you are running late, please call and let us know! Arriving late could result in loss of time from your appointment time to ensure it ends at its scheduled time and/or may require rescheduling the service. In return, we will do our best to be on time as well!

 

Service cutoff timeframes:

  • 10-minute service – 3 minutes late
  • 15-minute service – 5 minutes late
  • 25-minute service – 7 minutes late
  • 30-minute service – 10 minutes late
  • 45+ minute service – 15 minutes late

We respect all our clients’ schedules and are unable to extend your treatment time due to late arrivals. Any services that cannot be performed due to late arrival will be charged in accordance to the cancellation policy – 50% of total services not performed.

 

Repeat tardiness will result in non-refundable deposits for all appointments and/or client termination from our salon services.

CANCELATION POLICY

Your appointments are very important to Harmony Salon & Spa and its team members. We do our best to respect your valuable time by reserving a time just for you.

We understand that sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. In these situations, please notify us within the following time frames:

 

  • 24-hour notice for appointments under one hour in duration
  • 48-hour notice for appointments with one hour or more duration
  • 3-hour notice for appointments made within 24-hours

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call as soon as possible. Do not respond to reminder texts. They are automated, and we do not receive the message.

Clients unable to inform us of cancellations within these time frames listed above will be charged the following cancellation fees:

 

  • 50% of scheduled service charges for single service items
  • 100% of the total cost of your scheduled services for multiple or combined service items

Harmony Salon & Spa reserves the right to require a credit card to reserve all service appointments. This card will be charged fees outlined in the cancellation and/or the missed appointment/no show policies.

 

  • These fees are non-refundable.
  • Repeated infractions will result in client termination from our salon services.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS/NO SHOWS

As always, we will send a text and/or email to confirm your service appointments two days prior to your appointment date. However, it is your responsibility to remember your appointment date and time to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and the cancellation fee

 

  • If you fail to show up for your appointment, you will be charged 100% of the cost of your scheduled services.
  • Two or more missed appointments can result in client termination from our salon services.

We ask that you familiarize yourself with all provisions of this policy and abide by them to avoid being charged for missed appointments or not providing sufficient notice prior to canceling an appointment.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICES

Harmony Salon & Spa reserves the right to refuse or terminate services to anyone for the health and safety of the team and others for the following reasons:

 

  • Client is sick
  • The client has a temporary condition or a disorder.
  • Inappropriate client actions, behavior, requests, or comments that may be viewed as harassing or intimidating. Client(s) will have to leave immediately, and future services will be terminated.

ADDITIONAL POLICIES

CHILDREN and PETS

For the safety of your children or pets, we strictly prohibit them in the salon. In an emergency, please inform us before your appointment and ensure that there is someone else there aside from yourself to provide adequate services.

EATING/DRINKING and CELL PHONES

For safety and to respect both our time, we ask that you avoid consuming food or drinks during your service or using your cell phone.

PRICES

All prices are subject to change without notice. We continuously advance our skills and provide the highest quality of products and services.

RETURNS/REFUND POLICY

SERVICES

If you are not completely satisfied with your service, please notify us within 48 hours. If determined the fault is on our side, we will gladly redo the service to make the necessary corrections. No redo’s or refunds will be offered after the 48-hour grace period.

SERIES OF TREATMENTS

We are unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transaction on any spa treatment series that are purchased. We will, however, exchange them for other products or salon/spa credit of equal value.

GRATUITY

Gratuity is not included in the service or package price. Gratuity is at your discretion.

SPA PROMOTIONS

Spa specials cannot be used in combination with any other offers or promotions.

GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICY

Gift certificates are available in any amount and may be purchased at the site, by phone 847-778-9202 or online at www.harmonyss.com . Unfortunately, we are unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transaction on gift certificates even if lost, misplaced, or stolen. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed as cash. Gratuity may not be taken off gift certificates unless it was added in when the gift certificate was purchased. Gift certificates must be mentioned when making your appointment.
